PERKINS-HEBERT RESIDENCE
San Francisco, California
This custom home is a light-filled domestic space during the day and a discothèque by night. The clients requested a DJ station and dance floor seamlessly integrated into a functional family residence. Turntables disappear into a Corian-topped kitchen island, and speakers are concealed behind perforated cabinet doors. The top level has a transparent glass floor, allowing light from the large central skylight to pass through to the floor below.
